SAVE THE DATE:

On Saturday July 19, 2008, the Atlanta Jaycees are proud to present the 7th annual Fight It 5K Race & Walk-A-Thon, benefiting the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund.

This is the BMCF’s largest annual fundraiser. This 5K race and walk-a-thon is open to walkers and runners of all abilities. In addition to the race, there is a DJ providing tunes throughout the event, a hearty breakfast, a raffle of prizes for all participants, a Vendor Village with refreshments and freebies from local businesses.

LOCATION:

The Concourse (King & Queen) Concourse Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30328

Registration will be at the Peachtree-Dunwoody Rd Entrance

THE COURSE:

Concourse Parkway around the complex, left onto Hammond Drive, Right onto Barfield, Right onto Mt Vernon, Right onto Peachtree-Dunwoody Rd, Left onto Crestline for a quick U-Turn and then back to Peachtree-Dunwoody for the home stretch.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• 7:00 AM - Registration *
• 8:00 AM - Race *
• 9:30 AM - Raffle Items and Announcements from BMCF
• 9:45 AM - Runner Awards

We will also have a DJ providing tunes throughout the event and a Vendor Village with refreshments and freebies from local businesses.

* Registration and Race times are set, all other events are subject to change depending weather and conditions.

REGISTRATION

Create a personal profile when you register online to track your pledges, receive updates about the event, earn top pledge prizes, and see who else will be running in this year’s Fight It! 5K.

PRE-REGISTRATION:

Open until Thursday July 10th

– Includes T-Shirt, Goody Bag and Discounted Entry Fee

• $25- Adults
• $20 - Students K-12, Fire, Police, Active Duty Military
• $50 - Family Pass (Same Household)

REGULAR AND ON-SITE REGISTRATION:

Open until Noon on Friday July 18th.
On-site Registration is available the day of the race.
